The Technical University of Lisbon's seminar series on Probability and Statistics is a joint effort of four of the university's schools: FMH, ISA, ISEG and IST. It is born out of the necessity for a venue that stimulates and promotes the interaction between our university's statisticians and applied probabilists on the one hand, and between these researchers and subject-matter specialists on the other. We aim at inviting speakers that produce solid methodologic research motivated by important applied problems. The seminars are open to the general public.
