Strong statistical stability of non-uniformly expanding maps

Mohammad Soufi
(CMAF-FCUL)

Abstract: J. F. Alves gave sufficient conditions for strong statistical stability of non-uniformly expanding maps. The conditions have to do with the volume decay of the tail set, which is the set of points that resist satisfying either the non-uniformly expanding requirement or the slow recurrence, up to a given time. In this talk, we discuss Alves' result.
