Abstract: We survey the paper by A. Vitser (On products of random matrices and operators, Theory Probab. Appl. 24, 1979, 367-377), where Fursterberg's result on the positivity of the largest Lyapunov exponent for a random unimodular matrices is extended to the Markov case.
