TitleRouting and Scheduling in Integrated Continuous HomeCare
ParticipantsMaria Godinho (Principal Investigator)
SummaryThis year’s research proposal aims to further investigate routing and scheduling problems arising
in the context of home health care services, continuing the work initiated in 2023 [1].
Future work will focus on deepening the analysis and systematization of requirements defined by
stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, managers, and patients. The objective is to ensure
that the proposed optimization model accurately reflects operational constraints, service quality
standards, and practical decision-making needs. Special attention will be given to time-related
constraints, continuity of care, and resource availability.
