| Summary | Following the study of shifted numerical semigroups initiated in the previous year, several questions emerged concerning isolated gaps. In this context, our current objective is to study isolated gaps in numerical semigroups, with particular emphasis on what we call the density of isolated gaps, that is, the ratio between the number of isolated gaps and the total number of gaps of a numerical semigroup, as well as on determining its minimum and maximum possible values. We will begin by studying these problems in specific families of numerical semigroups and later extend the analysis to other families. |
