TitleSwitching Dynamics in Polymatrix Replicators
ParticipantsTelmo Peixe (Principal Investigator)
SummaryThis project builds on the rich framework of Evolutionary Game Theory, focusing on ordinary
differential equations defined on polytopes. Previous work by P. Duarte (2011), H. Alishah, P.
Duarte, and T. Peixe (2015, 2020), and T. Peixe and A. Rodrigues (2022) has developed techniques to
analyze the asymptotic dynamics along heteroclinic networks formed by polytope edges and vertices.
Polymatrix replicators, a specific class of these systems, have been extensively studied, including
permanence (T. Peixe, 2021), persistent strange attractors (T. Peixe and A. Rodrigues, 2022),
Hamiltonian dynamics (H. Alishah, P. Duarte, and T. Peixe, 2023), and heteroclinic cycle stability
(T. Peixe and A. Rodrigues, 2023).
