| Summary | This project is the continuation of the 2021 internal project "Dispersive PDEs". In this project we address the qualitative study of several nonlinear dispersive models, such as the Schrödinger-Debye system, the Benney equations and Cubic and Quadratic NLS systems. We will give special emphasis to the study of the so-called abcd-Boussinesq system, which describes 2-wave approximations of the incompressible and irrotational, two dimensional water wave equations in the shallow water wave regime, in the spirit of the original Boussinesq derivation. |
