Abstract: I will describe the construction of a renormalization schemes for vector fields on $\mathbb T^d\times \mathbb R^m$ and skew product flows on $\mathbb T^d\times \operatorname{SL}(2,\mathbb R)$. I will also discuss the applications of these schemes to the construction of invariant tori in near integrable systems in the former case, and to reducibility problems in the latter case.
