| Summary | This project extends the one implemented in 2016 and is focused on the analysis and modeling of higher education data. Success in higher education is a topic of growing interest in Portugal and in many other countries. Quantitative-based scientific research generally uses dropout or the number of years to complete the course as variables to measure student and system success. Rarely, the hierarchical structure of the data is incorporated into the statistical modeling. The main objective of this project is the quantification of the long-term school effect on the academic success in higher education. |
