We welcome applications for one research post-doctoral position in Mathematics within the scope of the Portuguese Science Foundation project Randomness in Deterministic Dynamical Systems and Applications (PTDC/MAT/105448/2008).
The position is for one year, starting before the end of 2011, with the possibility of extension for a second year upon mutual agreement and budget approval.
The salary is 17940 euros/year (tax free), and there are no teaching duties associated with this position.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics (or equivalent) obtained preferably after January 1, 2008, and must show very strong research promise in the area of Dynamical systems and applications.
The choosen candidate will be based either at CEMAPRE or at CMAF, depending on the topic of research.
