Abstract: We show the dynamical Borel-Cantelli lemma, also known in literature as the 'quantitative shrinking target problem', for dynamical systems with fast decay of correlation with respect to Lipschitz observables, extending a recent result of Haydn et al. This implies quantitative recurrence results for these kind of systems.
